This will be followed by an explanation of the River Styles framework by Peter Ainsworth the Riverworks Program project offcer from Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority. The River Styles framework has been developed by Macquarie University (with funding from Land & Water Australia) to provide a baseline geomorphic assessment of river character, behaviour and condition, and is now used by the CMA to assess management strategies.
