National Water Week

National Water Week 2009, which will be held from 18-24 October 2009, is the premier, all-encompassing community water awareness event in Australia and will be hosted by the Australian Water Association in partnership with the National Water Commission. This year’s theme – Securing Our Water Future – will provide a platform for organisations involved in the water sector to exchange knowledge and ideas with the broader community. Mr. Ken Matthews, CEO of the National Water Commission, said, “Managing our water more effectively is one of the most important and urgent challenges facing Australia.
